Rotwood Is A New 2D Side-Scrolling Roguelike From Don’t Starve’s Developer

Don’t Starve developer Klei Entertainment has announced a side-scrolling hack-and-slash roguelike titled Rotwood. The game features colorful cartoony graphics and co-op support for up to four players.

“Hack and slash your way through the Rotwood in this rogue-like dungeon crawler developed by Klei Entertainment. Explore and fight through a labyrinthian maze of dense forest and vicious vegetation with up to 3 of your friends. Forge your path through ever-increasing challenges and rewards to bring the spoils of your adventure back and craft new weapons and armor or fortify your safe haven.”

The Rotwood Steam page is now live along with the official announcement trailer for the game. Early Access is scheduled sometime in between 2022 and 2024 as revealed in the trailer below.
