Psyonix announced today that Rocket League's next content update will be taking the game under the sea. Dubbed the "AquaDome Update," the update will give players access to the free AquaDome arena, located at the bottom of the sea, and two new cars—Proteus and Triton—that will cost $1.99 each.

The AquaDome is described as follows.

Available in both casual and competitive playlists, the FREE AquaDome arena is a transparent glass dome hidden at the bottom of the ocean, teeming with aquatic life, including jellyfish, great white sharks, and more.

The AquaDome Update will be going live sometime in October. More details are set to be announced "soon."
