Rocket League Releases Mutators

Yesterday, the fast-paced fictional sports game, Rocket League, received yet another free update. In this update, the team at Psyonix introduced mutators to the game. Players can now adjust the size and shape of the ball, allowing you to play with a cube or a ball that's twice the size. Additionally, more extravagant mutators, such as one that causes an explosion wherever the ball touches and one that lowers the arena's gravity, have also been introduced. A custom playlist has been added for the new mutators, entitled "Mutator Mashup."

If that weren't enough, Rocket League is set to get a new mutator that allows players to play ice hockey next-month. The arena will freeze over and the ball will turn into a puck. However, the exact details of how the arena freezing over will affect players—if at all—have yet to be revealed.
