Co-op shooters are looking to make a comeback as yet another addition to the sub-genre comes to Steam next month called Rift Sweepers. The upcoming third-person shooter is being developed by South Korean action RPG studio Jofsoft and will pit teams of up to four players against interdimensional errmm… things.

The game’s Steam blurb doesn’t really elaborate on what you’ll be shooting down together with your friends except that they have different weaknesses that you’ll need to find to quickly kill them. Missions will involve completing a list of objectives while eliminating monster hordes of various shapes and sizes. Players will be able to choose from four playable classes which include the agile Rifleman, the sniper-like Sharpshooter, the mini-gun toting Demolisher, and the turret-installer and resident buffer, the Engineer.

Rift Sweepers will be launching into Early Access on Steam on September 8th with a full release slated for March 2023. You can check out the game’s official Early Access launch trailer below.
