RIFT Heads To The Tartartic Depths On March 1st

It seems that RIFT's Starfall Prophecy expansion is still going strong, as Trion Worlds announced late last week that, on March 1st, the game will be getting a new chapter in the Starfall Prophecy saga: a 10-player raid known as the "Tartartic Depths."
The story of the new raid is as follows.
This fiery prison was created by the devils to imprison the Red Flight – to ensure that no dragon would ever hold sway over them again, as Maelforge once did.
Rituals conducted within the Tartaric Depths have created Malannon, an avatar of the Tenebrean god, The Enigma. Some of you have glimpsed one of the four bosses on the Public Test Shard already, and there are three more to come.
The raid will be introduced as part of a larger update known as "4.1: Forged in Flame." The update will also introduce "Eternal Items," which are "unique weapons" that can be obtained by completing "a level 70 questline." Players will be required to seal rifts, solve jumping puzzles, and kill various monsters to develop their class' Eternal weapon, but Trion promises that each of them will be Best in Slot, making the effort worth it. According to the announcement, the Cleric, Mage, Primalist, and Warrior classes will all receive a two-handed Eternal weapon, whereas the Rogue class will receive two one-handed Eternal weapons.
Eternal armor and other weapons can also be obtained as drops "on very rare occasions." These can be "improved through the Active Upgrade system."
A new "level 70 challenge" known as "Intrepid Rise of the Phoenix" will also be going live with 4.1. Intrepid Gyel Fortress will launch ahead of the update sometime in February.
Additionally, players will soon be able to make use of colors that are "much more accurate to the dye selected; more vibrant and appealing" with the introduction of "tint improvements." New colors are also on the way.
