RIFT Announces New Primalist Calling

Free-To-Play Fantasy MMORPG, RIFT, has announced a new Calling— a first since the game's launch. The new Primalist Calling will feature 6 souls, with 4 to be added in a future update.

• Vulcanist: A ranged single target DPS that utilizes earth and fire to create magma.
• Berserker: A melee AoE physical DPS that cleaves enemies around them.
• Typhoon: A ranged AoE caster DPS that fights with water and air elements.
• Titan: A tank that creates walls to protect their allies from their enemies.
• Dervish: A sustained melee DPS that rains a flurry of blows on their enemies.
• Preserver: A healer who uses blossoms and seeds to heal their allies.

The Primalist will utilize a focus bar, that shifts between fury and cunning to empower their abilities. In addition, placing 21 points into a tree unlocks the ability to use "Primal Avatar" which grants your character a different aspect depending on the soul chosen.
