Riders Of Icarus Open Beta Begins July 6th, Founder's Packs Available Now
Nexon announced today that the Open Beta for Riders of Icarus—the global version of Icarus Online—will begin on July 6th. Alongside that announcement comes the announcement of Founder's Packs.
That's right. Nexon has gone the Founder's Pack route with Riders of Icarus, making three different Founder's Packs available: the Elite Riders Pack for $24.99, the Heroic Riders Pack for $42.99, and the Legendary Riders Pack for $89.99. Each pack comes with both guaranteed Closed Beta access and a 7-day head start for Open Beta. The Elite Riders Pack comes with one mount, with the Heroic Riders Pack adding another, and the Legendary Riders Pack adding yet another. Unfortunately, the only flying mount is in the Legendary Riders Pack. Other bonuses include varying amounts of inventory space, Premium Service subscription time, potions, Ellun Boxes, and character slots.
Premium Service time provides small benefits like many other free-to-play games with optional subscriptions. The benefits are as follows.
- Daily replenishment of 20 Health Potions
- Daily replenishment of 20 Familiar Stamina Potions
- Daily replenishment of one Familiar Taming Point Recovery Drink
- Characters gain 20% more EXP
- Familiars gain 20% more EXP
- Taming Success Rate increased by 10%
- Quest Ellun Reward Bonus increased by 100%
- 20% Auction Fee Discount
- Free use of the Transit Shrine
- Increase in monster gold drops
- Summon Storage NPC item
- Summon Auction NPC item
