Revelation Online Introduces Players To The Tower Of Pain

Revelation Online has a number of instances, some of which are significantly more imposing than others. The Tower of Pain is significantly more imposing than many others, if not because of its name implying that it will be a painful experience, then also because of that terrifying monster pictured above. The instance was "built by four sacred beasts of old" and only opens its doors once every 1000 years. Over the course of the instance, you will be tasked with facing the aforementioned four sacred beasts of old, who have "sealed their very own essence within the tower to serve as keepers and guardians."

The Tower of Pain is an eight-floor, five-player dungeon. It is considered to be a "death trap" in which players will be up against "all manner of bosses." Should you fail to complete it, you will supposedly have to prove yourself "worthy of another attempt."
