Revelation Online Details The Falmari
In the latest Revelation Online blog post the team details the Falmari, children of the sea god (not Poseidon). It's the latest teaser—following the Occultist—leading up to the game's Closed Beta set to begin sometime in October.
The Fulmari are a race dwelling near coastal regions, often seen visiting the sea capital Sulan. They're the cosmopolitan people of Revelation Online, listening to Mozart and dissecting art:
...The inhabitants of Sulan regularly visit the beaches to observe how the girls of this sea race dance and hear them sing or play wondrous musical instruments. The Falmari have exquisite manners and refined speech. Despite their apparent fragility, they are brave warriors, hardened by a centuries-old enmity with the Darkscales, who have attacked ships and coastal villages from time immemorial.
The post reads that it will be difficult to earn the Falmari's trust, so I can only imagine there will be dailies to bolster your reputation. Or maybe, a series of narrative-driven quests. Either way, once you're trusted enough to play telephone with the Falmari you can don their traditional apparel.
