Revelation Online Closed Beta Begins In October, Founder's Packs Available Now

Finally, the news we've all been waiting for has arrived. My.com announced today that Revelation Online's first Closed Beta will begin in October. If you've yet to sign up for the Closed Beta, but want to ensure that you have a shot of getting in, don't forget to do so via the official website sometime soon.

As with many recent MMORPGs, Founder's Packs were made available alongside the announcement. Fortunately, all of them include Closed Beta access, so you can ensure you have a spot when it rolls around in October for only $17.99. Each pack also includes some exclusive items, such as the Imperial Livery Outfit and the Golden War Horse.

Today, My.com also introduced the Vanguard class in some detail. You can read about the class here or see it in action in the trailer embedded below.

With all of the hype surrounding Revelation Online right now, news of the first Closed Beta couldn't have come at a better time. It's unfortunate that My.com opted for the Founder's Pack route, as many other games of recent times have, but the Founder's Packs are more reasonably priced than those of said other games. I'm looking forward to checking the game out, but I don't think that I'll be opting to purchase a Founder's Pack solely for that purpose.
