Realm Of The Mad God Kicks Off Season 8 And Adds A New Mini-Dungeon

Bullet hell dungeon crawler MMORPG Realm of the Mad God has kicked off Season 8 which features the a new mini-dungeon set in a rather hostile tavern. The new mini-dungeon, aptly-named The Tavern, pits players against angry customers before they go up against the belligerent barkeep himself for a chance to earn new pieces of gear and accessories.

The mini-dungeon will drop from the Beer God who’ll now spawn up to two times, similar to other realm encounters. The Beer God Drink slot cap has also been slightly reduced from 6 slots to 5 and Christmas Beer God drink reskins have been updated to better align with non-reskinned versions.

Season 8 also brings with it an updated Mission Tree which can now also be accessed by non-seasonal characters. Some missions, however, will still be exclusively available to crucible and seasonal characters. Players also get access to a new battle pass and a new Crucible Mode season called Glass Cannon.
