Ragnarok M: Classic Global Sets Worldwide Launch for Early September

Gravity Interactive will roll out Ragnarok M: Classic Global on 3 September 2025, giving fans of the long-running franchise a new way to revisit Midgard on PC, iOS, and Android. The release unifies servers across all regions and devices, so players can freely swap between phone and desktop without starting over.
The “Classic” label is deliberate. The studio says it is rebuilding the game around the one-currency economy and slower gear grind that defined the original Ragnarok Online back in 2002. That decision comes amid a wider push for throwback MMORPGs, as veteran players look for simpler systems and fewer monetisation layers. Keep in mind though, Ragnarok M: Classic is a mobile game first and foremost, so it has the typical mobile game features. The game does have a PC client though.
Ragnarok M: Classic Key Features
- Content pulls from the early era of Ragnarok Online, including familiar jobs, monsters, and maps.
- Single in-game currency, so every item is earned the old-fashioned way without spending money.
- Full cross-platform support lets mobile and PC users share the same characters and servers.
- Worldwide servers go live at the same time, removing the region locks seen in earlier mobile releases.
- Optional pre-registration is open now and offers in-game cosmetics on day one.
