Ragnarok Online 3 Revealed in First Gameplay Trailer

While there have been countless mobile remakes of Ragnarok Online, there hasn't been a proper new version of the game since the launch of Ragnarok Online 2 over a decade ago. Well, that's changing. Gravity unveiled a gameplay trailer for Ragnarok Online 3 yesterday which is being developed by Joymaker, the Singapore based studio that worked on Ragnarok Origin. Like other newer Ragnarok titles, Ragnarok Online 3 will be free to play. No release date is available just yet, but given the gameplay shown below, I suspect it'll launch in some form sometime in the next 12 months.

As a long time fan of the original PC version of Ragnarok, I'm definitely excited to give this one a try. I've tried practically every mobile version of Ragnarok, but those didn't click with me the same way the PC version did. I'm also not the only one that feels this way, as the PC version of the game remains enormously popular worldwide across countless private server. The official service is also still running, despite being originally launching in 2002.
