A Quick Look At Nexon’s Upcoming Side-Scrolling MOBA - Hyper Universe

MOBA’s nowadays come in a variety of forms including: 2.5D, 3D, first-person, and third-person. Nexon has decided to add a somewhat weird but surprisingly action-packed 2D side-scroller to that list with Hyper Universe.

The game follows the same rules as traditional MOBA’s except for the fact that it’s played in a multi-level 2D side-scrolling Megaman-esque sci-fi environment. What’s great about the game is that you can play as crazy-looking characters, including ones based on Bruce Lee, Red Ranger, what seems to be a Morrigan/Alucard mashup, and a number of other pop culture icons.
