Quantex Online Entertainment Are Working On New A MMORTS

Most of you probably haven't heard of Quantex Online Entertainment. The company entered a development partnership with O2 Online Entertainment, developers of Mankind, in 2008 in order to "further and prepare the next versions of this innovative game project." At the time of their partnership, Mankind had already been online for a staggering ten years and had changed owners in that time. Now, seven years later, the game has stagnated, with the last update on the official website dated 2013.

It appears that their time is instead being spent on a new, cross-platform MMORTS based on Mankind's technology, as can be seen on the company's communication page. It is also noted on that page that an alpha test is to be starting this month that you can sign up for via this form, also linked on the communication page. Given that it is mentioned that the current prototype is a proof of concept, it seems that whether or not we hear more about the project will depend on the results of the test.

While the exact platforms for the game haven't been announced as of yet, through the form, we can assume that their prototype is currently running on PC and mobile. The form asks about consoles and web, as well, but they ask for specific details about your phone, tablet, and computer. It is unknown at this time whether the project is simply an effort to update the engine for Mankind and expand it to multiple platforms or if it is a new cross-platform project altogether that is simply based on Mankind's technology.
