Project Gorgon Receives High Level-Focused Update
Project Gorgon may be on Kickstarter right this very moment but that doesn't mean that the team is about to take a break from development. In a set of patch notes so new, they can only be seen through the launcher, you can see that changes have been made to both the new player and high level experience.

Changes made to the new player experience are a direct response to the amount of players that the Kickstarter is bringing in. The patch notes say that there were so many new players entering the game to decide if they wanted to back it that the mobs in the starter zone were dead more often than not. Since they drop all of your starter gear, to make up for this, they've placed a bag in the starter cave, near the exit, that will give each player a random set of—rather bad, mind you—gear.
Major changes to high level armor were made in order to ensure that high level armor is useful. There was an issue with high level armor affecting health more than it was armor. This made armor essentially useless, as players would run out of armor long before they ran out of health. Now, it is the other way around and players will find themselves dying more quickly if they aren't careful.
A new solo dungeon for players level 40 and higher has also been added. This dungeon, among the yeti of the Kur Mountains, is said to be soloable for players in the mid 40s, granted they find gear in the dungeon to help them. Apparently, it is theoretically possible for players in the low 40s but only for the first half of the dungeon.
A number of other changes were made that you can see in the image below. Personally, I'm just happy we can sit in chairs now.
