Don’t you just hate it when your shiny new breastplate doesn’t match your helmet or your leg armor? For fashion-savvy Project Gorgon players that’s no longer problem with the introduction of a new cosmetic feature that lets you change the look of your gear into any other piece of gear available in the game.

“Glamour Berries are magical fae fruit that can permanently make any one piece of gear look like another piece of gear. This is only an illusion, though -- the glamour has no effect on the item's stats or behavior. This includes NPC behavior: NPCs automatically "see through" glamours, so they will react to you as if you were wearing the original item. For instance, if you're wearing "hideous" clothing that's been glamoured into something beautiful, NPCs will still think you look hideous.”

These berries can be earned by participating in mini-games or bought with event tokens. The team will also be adding an option to purchase them using guild credits in the future.

Aside from the new transmog berries, the update also revamps transmutation mechanics, lowering the level in which you can learn the skill and making sure that the last two power rerolls don’t come up again when players replace an item’s power. There’s also a long list of changes and improvements, including improved tooltips, graphics, physics, and UI. You can check out the latest patch notes for the full rundown.

Elder Game has also slashed 50% off the game’s price tag, bringing it down to just $19.99 on Steam until May 2nd. Players will also get free Glamour Berries when they sign-up for the optional VIP membership.
