Project Genom Enters Paid Alpha Phase

The upcoming non-targeting shooter MMORPG Project Genom has entered paid alpha and is now playable by the general public. You can gain access to the current version, 0.5.10, by buying a Founder's Pack for a minimum of $19.99 with higher tiers costing upwards of $119.99. Despite just entering alpha, a new update is already set for tomorrow.

The basic $19.99 Founder's Pack grants the buyer a unique device, a unique pet, the Founder title, and guaranteed access to all tests, along with $10 of premium currency. Paying for the $119.99 Founder's Pack will also grant you a permanent 15% exp bonus and a permanent 15% discount in the premium shop, along with your name in the credits, access to the developer's chat, and access to the test server. All packs other than the basic pack grant various levels of personal teleporter, max weight boost, decor for your cabin and hangar, and skins for various equipment.

It is important to note that at this time, the game is quite a ways away from being finished. Core features like groups, resource gathering, crafting, upgrades, PvP arenas, diseases, and bosses are not in-game yet. Nevertheless, if you want to begin your journey in Project Genom, you can now.
