PlayPark Explain Phantasy Star Online 2's IP Block Issues

Following the return of Phantasy Star Online 2's IP block yesterday, PlayPark released an official statement regarding the reason it was removed before being reinstated mere days later. In this statement, they note that "recent technical difficulties were all due to connectivity issues with an ISP," meaning that the IP block being removed temporarily was due to a connection issue and nothing more. They make sure to note that rumors of the removal of the IP block are "entirely not true," thus dashing the hopes of Westerners once again.

They then go on to assure those playing that their engineers are monitoring the game and sorting out technical issues as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it sounds like, should another IP block outage occur, it will be similarly short lived.
