Planet Explorers To Launch On October 26th After Two And A Half Years In Early Access

After two and a half years in Early Access, Pathea Games' open world sandbox RPG Planet Explorers will finally be launching on October 26th. Featuring both a 30-hour storyline with NPCs, a survival-esque mode with a procedurally-generated world, a peaceful building mode with a procedurally-generated world, and a 16v16 Versus mode, the game has quite a lot of content to offer. What's more, all modes are playable in a multiplayer setting, story mode included.
Like many other open world sandbox games, Planet Explorers makes use of voxel-based terrain. However, unlike many others, the terrain is not based on blocks of any kind. Instead, it looks far more natural and can be modified in any way that players see fit.
Planet Explorers' key features are as follows.
- Unique voxel based open world adventure RPG with tons of features in both single player and multiplayer modes.
- Able to create new objects, weapons, buildings and vehicles – everything you build will affect your gameplay and progress in the game.
- Unlimited freedom. The World Editor in Planet Explorers can create customized world maps and missions.
- Diplomacy or warfare – it’s entirely your choice! Planet Explorers provides different camp choice to players. Either choose to fight against the local aliens or live in peace.
- Epic amount of content. Up to 30-hour storyline; over 40 unique mainline NPCs; over 20 types of minerals; over 100 types of monsters; over 200 unique items.
If you want to get into the game ahead of its official launch, you can purchase it on Steam for $24.99. The price will not be increased at launch.
