Peria Chronicles May Be Delayed Indefinitely

It doesn't look like Peria Chronicles will be releasing anytime soon. The game is sorely missing from Nexon's Q2 2016 Investor Presentation; it's not even listed on the company's roadmap, as reported by MMOCulture.

Peria Chronicles' developer appears to have shifted to a new project: Thingsoft is working on a mobile title called Project Nacho (the title is tentative). The PC MMORPG is taking a backseat to mobile projects, a trend that's becoming increasingly apparent as companies push their IPs on mobile, e.g. Blade and Soul: Hongmoon Rising.

The game does still have a website through Nexon, but it's not very active. Sparse news since G-Star 2014 and missing information on Nexon's report indicates the project isn't even in Nexon's periphery. It's unfortunate. I was looking forward to Peria Chronicle's charming anime universe.

Maybe the company will pick it back up one day. We'll have to keep our fingers crossed and make some sacrifices to the RNG gods.
