Path Of Exile Promises To Improve Lake Of Kalandra Rewards And Drop Rates

Earlier this week, Grinding Gear Games revealed their plans to nerf rare monster spawns and item drop rates in Lake of Kalandra. The announcement was met with extremely negative reactions from the community since it effectively meant a reduction in the rewards that they’ll get from the newly-released expansion’s content content.

To pacify the community, Grinding Gear has promised to significantly increase the rarity bonus for loot dropped by monsters imbued with multiple Archnemesis mods and improve the quality of items dropped by map bosses. Additionally, the team will also be increasing the global drop rate of unique items by 33%, base currency drop rates by 25%, and rewards gained from Lake of Kalandra. These changes will go into effect in the multiplayer ARPG in an upcoming patch.

The promise of increased rewards, however, did little to change the community’s reactions, most of which believe that the promised adjustments won’t fix the root cause of the problem and that the developers should just revert to the state it was in before they rolled out Patch 3.19.
