With the Path of Exile: Sentinel League winding down to a close, players are now waiting for Grinding Gear Games to reveal the MMOARPG’s next expansion.

According to the studio’s release timeline, the next league is set to arrive on August 12th barring any unexpected issues. The Sentinel League will therefore be ending a few days before on August 9th.

As with previous expansions, players can expect to see a new Challenge League and new endgame content and mechanics, as well as various gameplay improvements and balance changes. Update 3.19 is also expected to be larger than the current expansion. Stay tuned for more details in the official reveal stream which, if previous expansion releases are any indication, should be coming sometime in the first week of August.

In the meantime, Patch 3.18.1d is set for release this week featuring several bug fixes for client crashes along with adjustments to Divine Vessels, and Soul Conduit monster modifiers. The full patch notes are now up on the Path of Exile official site for your scrutiny.
