Past Fate Adds More World Chests And Gears Up For Its Next Open Alpha Test

Past Fate players can now look forward to finding more treasure chests out in the fantasy MMORPG’s vast open world, assuming that they can get to it first. The game’s latest update has increased the number of chest spawns but has also reduced their respawn rates to keep things balanced. The team also updated the loot table for the said chests accordingly.

Icy North Games has also made the game feel more alive and immersive by adding NPC conversations and custom sounds for several creatures during combat. Other changes include updates to the Westborough Swamp zone and various tweaks to merchant-sold items.

In other Past Fate news, Icy North will be running another open alpha weekend for the early access title from July 28th to July 31st.

“Our 4th Open Alpha Weekend will let any brave adventurer to venture deep into the ancient Kingdoms of Edaria and Drosus,” the studio announced. “The goal with this open alpha weekend is to get feedback, see how the build is running with all the optimizations we have been working on and to let the community to band together and to vanquish the ancient evil that is once again waking up deep within the dark corridors of Blackfang Keep.”
