Pantheon: Rise Of The Fallen Transitions From Pre-Alpha To Persistent Seasonal Testing

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen marks a major milestone in its development as the high fantasy MMORPG officially moves from pre-alpha testing to seasonal testing. Season 1: Into the Pass kicked off this past weekend, opening the borders to the Avendyr’s Pass region and introducing new gameplay systems, class abilities, balance tweaks, better animation, and other quality-of-life improvements.
Seasons will run for roughly six weeks and will now allow in additional backer tiers but with time limits for lower pledge tiers. The smaller your pledge, the more limited your time will be in each season. Chapter-based updates will also be rolling out with each season.
VIP-tier backers can now jump into the game to take it for a test run and will have access for the entirety of the season. Champion-tier backers, on the other hand, will get two weeks of access, while Supporter tiers will get a week. Playtests are still covered by a visual non-disclosure agreement but will be removed at some point in the future. More information can be found in the developer Q&A video below.
