Palia Wrestles With A Flood Of Feedback And Complaints After Lifting Its NDA

Now that Palia has soft launched with a persistent beta test and lifted its NDA, the community wasted no time in giving developer Singularity Six their honest opinions on the cozy MMO. The team has apparently been swamped by both positive and negative feedback and admits that they’re going to need time to process and sort everything.

“We are a new studio, and this is our first and only game—the amount of outreach and attention we’ve received is almost like a tsunami engulfing us,” Singularity Six said. “And we are still trying to right ourselves, but we are confident the waves will settle in time. We want Palia to do well as much as the community does. This game is our livelihood. We are listening. And we will answer.”

One of the main complaints about the game is its confusing cash shop which allegedly advertises false prices and discounts. Singularity Six was quick to deny those claims, saying that the discounts are real and promising to be more forthcoming on how systems work while also locking down the offending thread on Reddit.

Palia is set to make the jump to open beta on August 10th with a Nintendo Switch launch planned for later this year.
