Overwatch's New Update Should Improve Latency - PC Players Only

Overwatch's newest patch should improve latency issues for the PC version of Overwatch. That means no more Roadhog hooks from around the corner, hopefully.

If you think of yourself, the server, and other players as three separate entities observing what happens during a match, then what the update does is bring those actions more in line; so that you, the server, and other players agree on what's happening, e.g. higher bandwidth means we all see Pharah launching a missile from atop the rocks on Route 66: it's less likely some kid can scream "lag!" when he dies and be right.

However, consoles are apparently out of luck. So Xbox One and PS4 users can still expect to corner-shot.
