Overwatch Turns Into A Winter Wonderland, All Mei Snowball Fight Included

Overwatch has transformed into a Winter Wonderland, decking maps with plenty of snow and holiday cheer, along with an all-Mei snowball fight. Oh dear.

King's Row and Hanamura are swept by a cold front; better break out your ice skates—or just play Lucio. Meanwhile, loot boxes are looking more like ribbon-tied presents, containing an assortment of festive goodies, including a Yeti-Winston skin and a nutcracker Zenyatta. 

Once you unlock an item, it's yours forever. Start planning for Christmas in July now.

But the most exciting feature is the new game mode: Mei's Snowball Offensive. Two teams of six Mei's face off in a zany snowball single elimination. Be careful not to miss. Or you'll end up eating a snowball, unless you can quickly find a snow pile to recharge.

The update is already live, so you can hop in and start slinging snowballs between today and January 02, 2017.
