Overwatch 2’s Cowboy Bebop Crossover Event Launches March 12 With Exclusive Cosmetics

Blizzard Entertainment has put a date to the Overwatch 2 x Cowboy Bebop crossover event that it teased last month. The event goes live on March 12 and will feature exclusive skins inspired by the classic bounty-hunting anime series.

For those who aren’t familiar with Cowboy Bebop, it’s futuristic space Western Japanese anime series that first came out in 1998. It revolves around the adventures (and misadventures) of former hitman turned bounty hunter Spike Spiegel and his partners Faye Valentine, Edward Wong, and Jet Black as they chase wanted criminals across the solar system to bring them into custody for monetary rewards.

The gun-slinging Cassidy, of course, will get a Spike Spiegel skin while Ashe, Mauga, and Sombra will get Faye, Jet, and Edward skins, respectively. Based on November’s LE SSERAFIM crossover event, the new skins will probably set you back $25 or 2500 Overwatch Coins apiece with an option to purchase all of them as a bundle for $68 or 6800 coins.
