Overwatch 2 Kicks Off 2nd Closed Beta Test, Junker Queen Now Up For Testing

Overwatch players and fans looking to join the next Overwatch 2 playtest will probably want to check their emails as Blizzard Entertainment has officially kicked off the sequel’s second closed beta test. This round of testing will feature the new Push game mode, a new hybrid map called Paraiso, various hero reworks and adjustments, and the debut of the Junker Queen.

“Junker Queen was built for Overwatch 2's 5v5 playing field. She has an unparalleled ability to claim space, and she is terrifying to deal with up close. She’s brawly, toeing the line of a berserker tank, and we were cognizant of that in this new tank paradigm. Tanks play more aggressively in Overwatch 2, and Junker Queen is certainly no exception—in fact, she’d consider herself the rule.”

Player feedback is already flooding in to the official forums and it looks like the community isn’t too pleased with the recent hero adjustments, particularly to the support hero Mercy. The Overwatch subreddit is doing any better and is also afire with similar complaints.
