Otherland Opens Its Early Access Doors Today

Sci-Fi MMORPG based on Tad William's high acclaimed novels, Otherland, will open its doors for early access today on steam. Prospective players will have to buy in to the early access at $19.99 USD for the basic pack or with deluxe or collectors editions at $29.99/$49.99 which feature additional character and item slots, skins and in-game currencies. You can pick up the game on Steam's Early Access and the early access period is scheduled to last about "six months" barring any additional features that might pop up.

Be warned however— the official pricing and business model have not been announced... so its possible that the game could go free-to-play in the end.
