Old School RuneScape Kicks Off Rewards Beta For Its Upcoming Desert Treasures II Quest

Jagex wants to make sure that Old School RuneScape players are happy with the rewards they’ll receive from its upcoming Desert Treasures II quest by letting players get a feel for them before they come out. The rewards beta test will run for a week and will drop players in the Kharidian Desert where they’ll find each and every reward from the new epic quest in their inventory.

“This year’s most-anticipated sequel is drawing closer, and before you know it, you’ll be back in the Kharidian Desert to start your next big adventure!” touts Jagex. “But before then, we want you to feel confident in the rewards you’ll get for completing this epic quest. You’ve already given us the greenlight, and now it’s time to try the goods out for yourself.”

Along with the rewards, they’ll also find a “Weird Green Egg” which functions as a Boss Helper Tool that they can use to customize their testing experience. The tool will allow players to instantly teleport to any boss encounter in the game, gear up their characters with any of the available equipment in the game, obtain all of the new items, and swap prayerbooks and spellbooks on the fly.
