No Man’s Sky Synthesis Update Now Live With A Host Of New Quality Of Life Features
No Man’s Sky players have a lot to be thankful for today as the Synthesis Update officially hits the servers. The massive update brings a host of new features and quality-of-life improvements that significantly enhance player experience. This includes the ability to upgrade starships through the Starship Outfitting Terminal found in space stations and salvage unused ships in exchange for valuable resources and tech.
Players can also now switch to first-person view when driving an exocraft and save custom outfits to easily change appearances on the fly. New technology upgrades have also been introduced as well as new triangular base parts, increased-capacity Storage Containers, a revamped starship Space Map, the ability to own more than one Multi-Tool, and the Personal Refiner feature which will allow players to refine elements directly within their Exosuits.
The Terrain Manipulator has also been improved and optimized with new effects and animations Restoring and Flattening terrain. In addition, the revamped protected edit system now protects edits made within a base from regeneration and allows more edits to be made before reaching the protected edits cap.
