No Man’s Sky Is Coming To Nintendo Switch This October

Hello Games has partnered with Bandai Namco to bring its popular sci-fi survival MMO No Man’s Sky to Nintendo Switch later this year. The game will be arriving on the portable platform alongside it’s physical version for the PlayStation 5 on October 7th.
“Originally released in 2016, No Man’s Sky is a science fiction exploration game set in a procedurally generated universe. It boasts an almost infinite number of never-before-seen planets and star systems to explore, each one teeming with life to be discovered. Players can choose to explore, craft, build, trade, fight or just try to survive in this vast intergalactic playground.”
The game has received a total of 20 major updates since it launched six years ago all of which will be available to Nintendo Switch users on day one. The Switch version will also receive future updates as well as new features and content at the same time as other platforms. Unfortunately, the game will only offer single-player gameplay at launch with multiplayer to be added at a later date. (Déjà vu?) Hopefully, it doesn’t take as long as it did to come out on PC.
