No Man’s Sky Beyond Update Introduces Multiplayer, VR Support, And A Whole Host Of New Features

no mans sky beyond update hello bannerThe No Man’s Sky Beyond update is now live bringing with it the much-awaited multiplayer component that has been missing from the MMORPG since it first launched three years ago. The update allows up to 32 players to join a multiplayer session on the PC, interact with each other, hangout in the new Space Anomaly social hub, and seamlessly switch between virtual reality and standard gameplay.

Update 2.0 also introduces a host of new features including full-fledged Virtual Reality, Nexus multiplayer missions, new story content, a streamlined newbie experience, a new tech tree system, planetary charts, new traveler NPC’s, and new alien encounters. In addition, a reworked Discovery Page featuring a new UI that will let players record more information about newly discovered plants, lifeforms, and minerals.
