Nightingale’s Recent Playtest Saw 12,000 Testers Jump Into The Victorian Fantasy World
Inflexion Games wrapped up another Nightingale playtest earlier this month which saw 12,000 testers put the upcoming realm-walking shared world game through its paces.
Apparently, there were some that decided to forego the playtest though as the team reports that only 11,500 characters were created during the previous round of testing. Testers spent a total of 2,000 hours customizing their characters with additional customization options at their disposal. One particular tester surprisingly spent 8 hours trying to get his/her character just right. Either that or he/she could have simply went AFK while in the character creator screen.
Players also dedicated a lot of time hacking down the local wildlife, resulting in the massacre of over 60,000 wolves and boars, presumably with a wooden axe which was the weapon of choice during the playtest.
As far as we know, Nightingale is still on track for early access launch on February 24, 2024 barring any unexpected issues between now and then. We’ll be sure to let you know if something comes up.
How many people chose metallic teeth? 🦷
How many boars were eliminated in less than a week? 🐗
