Nightingale Responds To Missing Player Houses By Rolling Back Last Week’s Patch

MMO players often spend hours upon hours of playtime building and decorating their in-game houses, more so in survival crafting games like Nightingale which feature more complex building systems that offer a greater degree of freedom. Unfortunately, some of those houses mysteriously vanished over the weekend, leaving Inflexion Games with no other choice than to roll back last week’s patch.
“We understand that some players have reported losing their Respite Realms in the last 24 hours,” the studio said on Discord and X. “In an abundance of caution, we have rolled back yesterday’s patch and are investigating further. This may mean that issues with falling in The Watch may occur again.”
Players needn’t worry about losing character progress though, as the rollback only affected the game world. Affected players are asked to fill out this form to get their respective Abeyance Realms and houses restored. Inflexion also advises against entering the realm until they get confirmation that it’s been restored.
The studio has yet to reveal what caused the issue but we can probably expect a post-mortem report once it’s concluded its investigation. For now, you can all rest easy knowing that your efforts haven’t gone to waste.
