Nexon Q4 2020 Investor Report Shows Record-High Annual Revenues
Nexon reports record-high revenues for 2020 thanks to the continuing success of MapleStory and FIFA Online, as well as their entry into “new markets.”
According to the Q4 2020 investor report, the company’s global revenues dipped for the last fiscal quarter of 2020, their worst quarter of the year, due to foreign exchange losses and deferred tax liabilities. Global revenues, however, were still up by 35% year-over-year and their annual revenue at an all-time high.

As for 2021, Nexon expects a “flattish” first quarter with a forecasted decline in Dungeon and Fighter and continued growth of MapleStory.
The full Q4 2020 investor report can be found on the Nexon official site for those who want the actual numbers.

MapleStory, one of Nexon's oldest MMORPGs (launched in 2003) continues to grow and reported record revenues for the year.

Dungeon Fighter Online used to make up over 50% of Nexon's revenue in 2018 but MapleStory has grown over the years and now makes almost as much revenue as Dungeon Fighter. The company continues to diversity its revenue streams with the launch of new titles. Mobile also continues to take up a greater percent of total revenues each year.
