News Of The Otherland MMO Surfaces
Fans of the Otherland MMO that is still yet to be released, fear not. After a prolonged period of silence following the closed beta this past spring, yesterday, the team at Drago Entertainment broke the silence. Otherland has not entered another long period of silence before disappearing like it did while at Gamigo.
So what have they been up to in this unnerving period of silence, you ask? "[Working] on Otherland in almost every area," they claim. Performance was improved and can apparently run stably on "weaker PCs and laptops."

The clan housing system, ClanLands, are now in a usable state, featuring a clan bank, storage space, and quest chains. Your ClanLands can also be attacked by opposing players, with the ability to set up guards using eDNA collected from mobs to defend your ClanLand.
Skills have been revised, supposedly entirely from scratch, with new animations, effects, and balancing. Heavy and special attacks now have "additional area and 'crowd control' components." Buffs differ when you are playing solo and when you are playing in a group.
The Lambda Mall has finally opened, as well. In addition to opening various shops in the central hub of commerce, the UI has also been worked on.
Despite all of these changes, the team still can't offer even an approximation of when the next test will be. All that we get for now is a vague "soon (tm)."
