Amazon Game Studios revealed a number of interesting facts about New World lore and the wide world of Aeternum for National Trivia Day. Yes, that’s a thing.

These little tidbits of information have very little to do with the actual gameplay or the game’s development but should encourage players to explore the wide world of Aeternum to uncover its secrets when the game finally comes out. One example is that every settlement in Aeternum has at least one outhouse. “There’s also one in the wild, with a nasty surprise hidden inside!” teases Amazon.

Amazon recently released their December Alpha update for the game which is part of a series of monthly updates that will pave the way for beta testing later this year.
