New World Previews Reekwater Swamp Biome In New Touring Aeternum Video

Amazon Game Studios continues their Touring Aeternum video series this week with a look at the Reekwater swamp biome and the dangerous creepy crawlies and unfriendly ghosts that call it home. Reekwater is also home to the Siren Queen who is responsible for the restless spirits roaming the swamps.

“Today, we travel to the boggy swamps of Reekwater. A lonely place haunted by treachery and death, and named for its pervasive, sickeningly sweet stench.”

The main settlement, called Reekwater Hamlet, is a maze of wooden structures built high atop the twisting trees and branches that manage to grow in the area. The village comes complete with an inn where players can rest, tool stations where they can craft weapons and gear, and a Town Hall where they can take on new quests.
