New World Officially Kicks Off Final Closed Beta Test, Watch The New Trailer
New World, Amazon Game Studio’s highly-awaited 17th century open world survival MMORPG, has finally kicked off closed beta testing. This closed beta test will also be the final public test before the game officially launches on August 31 and will not covered by an NDA. This means that even if you don’t get into the playtest, you’ll probably get to see a lot of the game from streamers over the next few days or weeks.
The closed beta will be available to players who pre-purchased the game or to anyone who managed to snag the game from the Amazon storefront back when it was still free. If you fit the criteria, you should have already received your beta key which you can redeem on Steam. If not, you can still pre-purchase the game for guaranteed access, signup on the official site, or wait for giveaway keys from partner streams.
“We will randomly select participants from the tester sign-up page at regular intervals throughout Closed Beta. If you've signed up, be sure to check your email throughout the testing period to see if you receive an invite,” said Amazon.
The closed beta test will run until August 2, at which point all progress will be wiped in preparation for the game’s official launch. Check out the new closed beta trailer below.
