New World Brings Back Its Nightveil Hollow Halloween Event Next Week

It’s been a busy week in New World as tens of thousands of players descended on the open-world MMORPG to get their fill of the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion. It’s about to get even busier for those players, assuming that they can get into the game, as Amazon Game Studios announces the return of the open-world MMORPG’s annual Halloween event.

“Nightveil Hallow returns as Baalphazu, Marquis of Terror rises once again on October 18 until November 14. Banish the shadowy demon back to the darkness, don unique costumes, and trick-or-treat for new candy rewards,” Amazon teased.

For first-timers, Baalphazu is a level 66 tree-like world boss that’s best taken on with a big group of players. Players can also put on a costume and go hunting for Treat Baskets hidden in each town. The baskets have a 10% chance to contain Baalphazu armor pieces in addition to other event rewards, including Nightveil Tokens, candy, and other surprises.
