New World’s Legacy Of Crassus Event Pits Players Against Monstrous Roman Bosses
Amazon might have decided to forgo Valentine’s Day celebrations in New World this year but its giving players something more fun to do instead, especially for those who love taking on big bad bosses. From February 21st to March 7th, you’ll be able to participate in the Legacy of Crassus event which will pit them against the eponymous Roman general’s lackeys.
“Hunt down General Crassus' monstrous captains and banish the shadow of Roman tyranny in an all-new event,” announced the studio. “Following a plan set in motion long ago, Crassus' forces have invaded the southern lands to unleash the cyclopses Lucanus and Decimus. Players brave enough to face these world bosses can search for portals in Brightwood, Weavers Fen, Mourningdale, Ebonscale Reach, and Edengrove. Each victory nets Adventurers event-specific, daily rewards.”
These rewards include Lucanus weapons, Decimus armor, legendary and standard gear, consumables, Umbral Shards, Obsidian Gypsum, and crafting mods. Note that you’ll need to deal at least 1,000 damage to the world bosses to be eligible for the rewards so you better step up your game.
