New World Is Merging Hundreds Of Servers Across Multiple Regions Today

Amazon Game Studios is merging a big batch of New World servers today across multiple regions, namely Australia, Central Europe, US East, and US West. Affected servers will be taken offline at 1pm PST (initially scheduled for 9am PST) to relocate players to their new homes just in time for Christmas.
It’s worth noting that Amazon will be squishing several servers into one, up to six servers in a few instances, including ones with decent populations. In the US West region, a total of 35 servers will be merged into 8 new ones, while in the US East, over 100 servers will be merged into just 23.
The full list of servers to be merged can be found on the New World official forums. The Server Merges FAQ also offers more information on the process.
