Amazon is giving the entire gaming community a chance to try out New World for a few days with a free-play event running from December 15-19. Those who decide to take up Amazon on their offer will be lumped in with other free-play players on new servers which will eventually be merged with existing ones at the end of the event.

Those who decide to stay on and continue their adventures in Aeternum will be able to pick up where they left off when they purchase a copy of the game. The Standard Edition is currently priced at $39.99 on Steam while the Deluxe Edition, which comes with exclusive cosmetics, will set you back $49.9.

On the subject of server merges, there’s been a slight change in the upcoming Return to Aeternum server merges happening on today which will see the Titan server merge with Yonas instead of Isabella as originally planned.

There’s also a new Forged in Aeternum video that talks about some of the developers’ favorite zones. You can check that out below.
