If you’re looking to join the mass of players that have flocked to New World in anticipation of its Brimstone Sands expansion’s release, you might want to know which servers to avoid so you don’t get stuck in queue for hours on end.

Amazon has released a server heat map which shows which servers are at risk of having extremely long queues based on the server population count from this weekend. The studio reports 15 high-risk, 6 medium-risk, and 5 low-risk servers from multiple regions. Obviously, you’ll want to avoid the high-risk ones if you don’t want to wait in line for too long.

Of course, the list is subject to change in the lead up to Brimstone Sands’ official launch as players migrate from one server to another. Unfortunately, if you’re already on one of the high-risk servers and don’t have a spare transfer token or don’t want to start from scratch, there’s really nothing you can do but ride out the incoming storm, and it looks like Amazon won’t be handing out free transfer tokens anytime soon in spite of their advice to move to less-populated servers.

“We suggest players in high population worlds move to other worlds as their world may be impacted by queues,” said Amazon. “Plan ahead with friends and company members. […] We will continue to monitor world populations and demand to determine whether additional servers should be opened or closed.”

Brimstone Sands is set for release on October 18th with fresh start servers opening in November.
