New World Addresses Bug That Caused Players To Lose Season Pass XP And Progress

It’s been over a week since New World kicked off its Blood of the Sand season and players have been hard at work grinding out the season XP required to progress through the new reward track. Unfortunately, a critical bug caused some of those players to lose those hard-earned experience points whenever they logged out of the game.
The good news is that the bug has been fixed and players can now safely log out without having to worry about losing progress. Affected players should now see any lost XP returned. The team is also investigating another related but bigger issue that causes players to lose all of their season pass progress, particularly when taking on repeatable content. They’re still currently working on a fix and promises an update soon.
