New World Drops Rise Of The Angry Earth Guide For New And Returning Players

The New World dev team is back with some required reading for new and returning players who plan to jump into Aeternum once the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion hits the live servers next month. The latest developer blog offers tips from various content creators to help ease players into the open-world MMORPG which might feel like an altogether different game for those who’ve been away for quite some time.
The featured content creators advise new and returning players to focus on the main storyline and ignore side quests, gather as much materials as possible, and not to stress out over their guild or choosing the “wrong” faction. YouTuber BagginsTV suggests creating a new character which will allow returning players to refamiliarize themselves with game mechanics while also giving them a chance to experience the revamped questing system.
Alongside the new dev blog, Amazon Game Studio also rolled out another Balance of Power developer video as its 51st Forged in Aeternum episode. In the new video, Creative Director David Verfaille also offered advise on gear progression for both PvE and PvP. He noted that the questing and taking on story dungeons will get players to 685 Gear Score, with PvP content getting them up to 700.
You can check out the full developer video below. Rise of the Angry Earth arrives on October 3rd.
