New Top-Down Battle Royale Game ‘Watchers’ Is Now In Beta Testing

watchers battle royale bannerFor most battle royale games, dying means being eliminated permanently from the match. What if you could take a backseat role instead, make life just a bit harder for the survivors, and maybe even actively influence the outcome of the match? Upcoming battle royale shooter Watchers lets you do just that and they’ve just started beta testing.

“Alawar Premium launched their Watchers beta test today, with the testing period ending on August 4th at 12 pm PDT. The game is a free-to-play battle royale styled top-down shooter where battlers stay in the game, even after being killed allowing them to create anomalies on the battlefield, make bets on their favorite survivors and can even turn the tables!”

Battlers turn into Watchers when killed and can actively influence the rules of the match including but not limited to, raining laser beams from the sky, dropping furniture on unsuspecting battlers, and giving favorite battlers temporary advantages. The more Watchers there are the more unpredictable the matches become. “Watchers observe your every move! Earn their regard, and they might help you when you’re in a tight corner,” says the devs.

The beta servers will only be open daily at specific times of the day. You’ll find the schedule below:
